Story

Set in 1970s India, Bhuvanam Ramappa Rao Bahadur — an eccentric aristocrat known locally as a "man of miracles" — improbably survives a terminal illness. Consumed by guilt and a corrosive doubt about whether his late second son was truly his own, he withdraws into his ancestral manor and builds an imagined world where memory, fantasy and reality bleed into one another. Venkatesh Maha's psychological dark comedy unpicks family secrets, mental illness and a cycle of suspicion spanning generations.
